The immediate task of this dissertation was to research methodological and practical grounds for the category of the population life quality, its place and role among the population life categories, to determine the strategic direction of contemporary social policy of Ukraine. Taking into consideration the specific market reforms in this country, the peculiarities of methodical approaches to implement indicators of integrated evaluation of the population life quality and their components were formulated.
