Kochmarsky V. Sowing qualities and yielding properties of winter wheat seeds depending on pesticides and plant growth regulators under conditions of the Right-bank part of the Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine

Subject of the research - seed quality characteristics under the influence of chemicals for plant protection. Investigation aim - efficiency rise of seed production of winter wheat. The methods - laboratorie, field, phonologic, scale-measuring, mathematical-statistical. Theoretical and practical results - it has been found that some disinfectants reduce seed quality, but others do not worsen it and increase grain yield; it has been established that treatment of seed crops with fungicides increases grain yield and improves seed quality; it has been noted that treatment of seed with novel growth regulators stimulates their germination and formation of plant performance elements, and increases grain yield. Novelty - for the first time under conditions of the Right-bank part of the Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine the influence of chemicals for plant protection on sowing qualities and yield properties of winter wheat seed has been studied. Application degree of introduction - technology of elite seed growinghas been improved and applied to production, recommendations to seed growing farms of the Right-bank part of the Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine have been given.
