Chervona L. Phenomenon of opposition in Ukraine: social and philosophical analisys

The dissertation is dedicated to the elaboration of the social and philosophical conceptual grounds of research of the problem of opposition in Ukraine. The author has proved that it is possible to solve such task only in case of consecutive realization of the systemic approach to the analysis of opposition as a social institute which springs up, forms and functions in a political sphere. The methodology of the social and philosophical analysis is a cognitive basis of the work. It admits application of concrete and historical, comparative, structural and functional, formal and logical, statistical and other methods of study. In the work the concepts of an opposition and political opposition have been substantiated, their main functions in the society have been defined and the classification has been done. The candidate for a degree has paid special attention to the analysis of the problems of theoretical and practical coming-into-being of the political opposition in Ukraine. The author has substantiated the ways of optimization of the interaction between the power and opposition in Ukraine. The conclusions formulated in the dissertation are related to the directions of the further research of the problem of opposition in the Ukrainian society. In the work the author has made a series of practical recommendations.
