The Thesis is devoted to scientific problem on development of new technical facilities and on improvement of technologies for the splitting up of trains in hump yards under optimization of pushing and shunting process a complex of models is worked out in the Thesis which can be applied for all hump yards and it allows; to carry out investigations under full imitation of real devices of sorting complex, excluding expenseses for frequentative experiments; to operate by the work of shunting locomotives while using a method for reduction of the time; to rise the processing ability of hump yards; to reduce the volume of energy for the process of splitting up of trains; to reduce the standing idle of cares and to accelerate the transporting process.
