Essay

Findings of the research, which resulted in a socio-philosophical analysis of formation and development of moral and ethic values of the entrepreneur in Ukraine in the period of consolidation of market and democratic relations, are defended. The dissertation analyzes the essence of entrepreneurship as a mode of organization of production and realization of economical activity. Sources of origin of market relations in Ukraine, history and social roots of Ukrainian entrepreneurship, peculiarities of its formation and development in the past decade, factors stipulating formation and development of personal moral features of entrepreneurs. It was demonstrated that, together with positive moral and ethic features, some contradictory and extremely negative qualities are being formed quite often, such as haughtiness and swagger, meanness and timeserving, groundless aspiration to power and orientations on rapid enrichment. This often results in forming a particular type of entrepreneur - the anecdotic "new Ukrainian", which is negatively perceived both in Ukraine and abroad. The author formulated a model of managerial activity taking into account moral and ethical features of entrepreneurs.
