Berdnyk L. An Inner Form and Word-Formative Semantics of Derivatives Denoting a Doer of an Action in Contemporary Russian.

Object is the derivative words with meaning of doer. The aim is to analyze and to find out the inner form and features of word-formative semantics of derivatives denoting a doer in Russian. Methods - methods of continuous sample of a lexicographic material, definition of the analysis, paraphrase, general scientific inductive and deductive methods, system-functional approach. Peculiarities of an inner form and an implicit meaning correlation in derivatives have been revealed and analyzed. The ways of word-formation to convey direct and figurative (metaphoric, metonymical) meaning have been described. Systematic relations of distribution and opposition between an inner form, semantic augments, derivative and lexical meaning in a word were taken into account. A tendency to unification of the correlation between semantic augments and derivational suffixes conditioned by the character of an inner form in a noun derived from a verb has been determined.
