The research is debicated to the least studied part of Ukrainian military scence history - intelligence analysis of the intelligence activiti in the times of New Zaporozhska Sich (1734-1775) and Ukranian revolution in the beginning of XX-th century (1917-1921) being most disputable and hroblematic in the history Ukrainian military formations. Source base study and state of scientific elaboration of the problem of creation and functioning of military intelligence in the times of New Zaporozska Sich (1734-1775) and Ukrainian revolution in the beginning of XX-th centrury (1917-1921) is performed in the theses, new methodology of research is proposed in the work.
