Essay

The integral scientific analysis of organizing and pedagogical work of clubs with school youth is accomplished in the thesis: historical and pedagogical sources of children’s clubs as a pedagogical phenomenon are defined; their educational assence is characterized. The author reveals and analyses the peculiarities of rise and development of children’s clubs in Ukraine in the 20th years of the 20th century; investigates scientific and theoretical basis and major tendencies of club activity as a form of upbringing of school youth of that period, shows up the possibilities of utilizing the progressive ideas of club work with school youth in the 20th years of the 20th century in present-day conditions.
