Piven' A. The development of the physical training of the youth in Ukraine (1917-1930s).

The preconditions of the creating of the native theory of the physical training are shown in the work. The process of forming and development of the physical training, it's assignments, content, means, methods and the organizing forms is also analyzed. The correlation between the theory and the practice of the physical training, the socio-pedacogigal movement, socio-economical and political peculiarities of the state in 1917-1930s are highlighted here as well. The author investigates the role and the place of the teachers, doctors, sociologists, statesmen in this process emphasizing on the peculiarities of the forming of children and youth's physical training as the constituent part of the native educational system. The generalized material that defines the government and the leading public's role in the realization of the idea of the physical training and forming of the healthy way of life of the youth are given in the dissertation. The role of the pedagogical journalism in the spreading the famous scientists and teachers' views in the sphere of physical training is also revealed here.
