Ponomaryov V. Tobacco smocking in young people (clinical and experimental-physiological research).

The studying of factors promoting smocking formation in young persons was carried out in the dissertation. The clinical-psychopathological, psychological and psychophysiological predictors of tobacco smocking were established. Limbic and neocortical mechanisms of occurrence of dependence on a tobacco smoke were experimentally investigated. Pivotal value of emotiogenic mechanisms of a brain in formation of this pathological inclination was shown. Dependence of features of formation of an inclination to smoking from a high or low level of motivation to positive emotions, and also from high or low functional activity of mechanisms of negative emotional reactions was found out. The role of a hereditary factor in formation of tobacco dependence was experimentally proved. The received results of clinical and experimental researches improve understanding the tobacco dependence ethiopathogenesis, its consequences and promote development of new approaches to preventive maintenance of a syndrome of tobacco dependence.
