Voznyi D. Adaptive model of medical and social rehabilitation of persons with alcohol dependence

The thesis is devoted to actual purpose: research peculiarities of care stages providing to patients with alcohol dependence as factors in the formation of remission and development activities of medical and social rehabilitation of men with alcohol dependence. To address the problems were examined 296 men aged 28 to 60 years who had verified alcohol dependence and experience of treatment and hospitalization for alcoholism. Were identified clinical features and course of alcohol dependence established biological, social and psychological factors of remission disrupt in men with alcohol dependence. The basic factors disrupt the therapeutic remission in men suffering from alcohol dependence: biological, psychological and social. Designated maladaptive psychological characteristics of male patients with alcohol dependence which were both factors of alcohol dependence and disruption remission factors. The main groups of investigation after receiving the stationary phase also had psychological support services. The effectiveness of the implemented program has been proven by assessing the duration and quality of remissions. Most prolonged remission were investigated in groups where patients had both medical treatment and psychological support. The final stage was the creation of recommendations about the implementation of the integrated system of clinical-psychological, medical and preventive care for persons with alcohol dependence at national and regional level and local-clinical and outpatient stages.
