Object of research: social and economic processes in sphere of state regulation of employment. The purpose of dissertational work is improvement of the mechanism of state regulation of employment in large industrial region in modern social and economic conditions. Methods of research: methods of the statistical analysis, a grouping and generalization of the demographic data, methods the theory decision-making, the imitating approach, dynamic imitating Forester model. Theoretical results: will consist in improvement of theoretical approaches and scientific - practical recommendations on increase of efficiency of state regulation of employment of region at a stage of economic growth. Practical results: practical value of the received results will be, that they create preconditions for introduction of the developed directions of improvement of a state policy of employment, actions of strategy of state regulation of employment of the population and conceptual model of distribution of financial streams insphere of regulation of employment in region. Scientific novelty: theoretical and methodological bases of a state policy of employment are advanced; for the first time regional strategy of state regulation of employment is developed on the basis of management of risk of unemployment; quantitative parameters of rational distribution of financial resources in sphere of employment are offered; the mechanism of state regulation of employment in region is advanced on the basis of the developed strategy; has received the further development a method of an estimation social and economic efficiency of a policy of employment in region.Degree of introduction: results of dissertational work are used by Donetsk Regional State Administration, in activity of the State Center of Employment, of the Ministry of Work and Social Policy of Ukraine, in work of the Vinnitsa and Dnepropetrovsk Regional Centers of Employment, in educational process in Donetsk National University.
