Koval T. The evolution of structure of reader's complement at the scientific library (in the 90-th years of the XX century.)

Dissertation is dedicated to complex historical and library scientific investigations of structure of reader's complement of the universal scientific library in the 90-th years of the XX century. Detailed analyzes of reader's complement was made in it's movement on the base of the historic-book science method with the application of the librarian statistics and methods of reader's investigations, which were realized in the 90-th years of the XX century. The analyzes affirms that due to the general transformation of prioritets and normative-value orientation in society, the considerable changes in social and demographic characteristics of library readers took place. Dissertation stressed that during the soviet period library readers were under the influence of the theory of "guidance directed on reading". It noticed that the cardinal changes in the Ukrainian social life in the 90-th years of the XX century influenced greatly the forms of library service. The system of library service has acquired the dialogical forms in which the library readers with the whole their interests and demands play the determining role. Functioning of such system nowadays are directed on the ensuring broad access to the documents and information on the principles of utilization of all specter of library-informational service.
