The object is the system of the public servants professional study. The objective is the scientific and theoretical justification of the organisational and methodological backgrounds of the public servants professional study. The methods are - theoretical analyses, induction, and deduction, structural and functional analyses. The newness is that the model of the public servants professional study has been suggested; the immediate constituencies analyses of the pedagogical system of the public servants professional study has been made. The results are that the system forming functions of the efficient action of the public servants professional study of the English language have been specified; the definition of the special methodological principles that provide the formation of the public servant professional competence in the field of the business English language have found their further development.
