Spichak O. Development of the composition and formulation for a new complex natural drug with antimicrobial and immunomodulating properties

For the first time the composition and formulation for a new complex drug with antimicrobial and immunomodulating properties on the basis of biologically active substances of big bee larva biomass and medicinal plant raw material have been stipulated theoretically and experimentally. The physical and chemical properties, a qualitative composition and a quantitative content of the main acting biologically active substances of the drug obtained have been studied. It has been established that the complex drug "Melofit" developed has a wide spectrum of antimicrobial activity to gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, mycobacteria of tuberculosis and pathogenic fungi according to their pharmacological properties. The revealing. of antimicrobial properties is combined with immunostimulating effect on the systems of non-specific resistance and immunoreactivity.
