Volianiuk R. Pedagogical aspect of guardianship of children and youth in Halychyna (the second half of the XIX th - the first third of the XX th c.).

Object of research: social guardianship in the Halychyna of the second half of the XIX - the first third of the XX c. Goal of research: on the basis of custody problem studies in the context of European culture, Austrian-Hungarian and Polish states' legislation analysis to reveal peculiarities of the custodial-pedagogical activity of religious and public institutions of Halychyna, the content, forms and methods of their educational work with children and youth. Methods: searching-bibliographic, сhronological, comparative, statistic analyses, generalisation and classification. Scientific novelty of research: for the first time it has been done a complex research of the custodial-educational work of public and religious institutions of the Halychyna of the second; new archival documents have been introduced in scientific circulation widening the idea of organization basis for public custody in Halychyna of the period of Austria-Hungary and Poland, of the content, main fields and forms of pedagogical activity of the church, custodial institutions in the sphere of guardianship of children and youth. Practical application of the research data: the basic results, principles and conclusions of the research approved by reading a specialized course "The History of Guardianship in Halychyna (the second half of the XIX - the first third of the XX c.)" can be applied in lecture courses and seminars on History of Pedagogic and Social Pedagogic in higher educational establishments of various accreditation levels, also in the process of working out manuals and methodical literature.
