Essay

Object of study: BHV-1 virus, BVDV, cell cultures, laboratory animals and cattle. Purpose of study: killed emulsion infectious bovine rhinotracheitis and bovine viral diarrhea virus vaccine development and characterization. Methods of examinations: virologic, serologic, biochemical, haematological and statistical. Theoretical and practical results: killed emulsion infectious bovine rhinotracheitis and bovine viral diarrhea virus vaccine is developed first on Ukraine, the rollers method of cultivation of cell PO, CVC and BHV-1 virus, BVDV is developed, which allows to get virus material with high infectious activity for making of vaccine without concentration by the chemical matters. A degree of introduction: the results of researches are used for development of documentation on the killed emulsion infectious bovine rhinotracheitis and bovine viral diarrhea virus vaccine (technical terms, instruction on making and control and instructions on application), which is considered and approved by the methodical commission IEKVM (protocol № 16 from a December, 8, 2004). Area of use: veterinary medicine.
