Essay

Dissertation is devoted to improvement of existing methods of diagnostics, medical treatment and specific prophylaxis of leptospirosis in domestic animals. First in Ukraine the epizootic researches are conducted spread of leptospirosis at dogs. Prevalence is definite of basic serotypes exciter of leptospirosis. New effective methods are described of diagnostics based on biochemical analyzers of blood, which are able considerably to improve determination of exciter and prognostication of motion of disease. Antibodies are definite to 6 basic serotypes leptospirosis in the serums of blood of cats. Thus possibility is proved of disease and leptospirosis holding at cats. In work it is considered and series are described of experiments on determination of optimum charts of medical treatment with the use of modern antibiotics and other veterinary preparations. The special "cocktails" are developed from preparations taking into according their compatibility. It is studied and offered to application of medicalpreparations for the complex medical treatment of leptospirosis at dogs, and also dietary feed. The comparative study is conducted of modem polivariety against leptospirosis vaccines, and also a necessity is proved of conducting of inoculations twice on year. A level studied of post vaccination antibodies after the inoculation by the monovariety vaccines developed in IVM UAAN, that is their approbation is conducted in practice. The given vaccines are recommended to application as auxiliary in those regions where definite serotype exciter of leptospirosis predominates.
