Essay

Objekt of researches: swine salmonellosis, means of prophylaxis. Purpose of researches: definition of spreading, biological properties of agents and improvement of prophylaxis swine salmonellosis. Methods of researches: epizootologycal, clinical, pathologoanatomical, microbiological, hematological, serological, biochemical, immunological and statistic. Equipment: microscope, thermostat, camera of Goriayev, photoelectrocalorimeter, centrifuger. Theoretical results: there has been fixed the tendency to spread of swine and people salmonellosis in Poltava region; there have been defined spectrum of predominant serovars and studied biological properties of agent; the necessity to stimulate the resistans of pigs organism vaccinated against the salmonellosis have been substantiated; there have been experimentaly motivated of increasing the efficiency of vaccinoprophylaxis with application of biological active addition. Practical results: there has been proposed to vaccinate pigs of formolvaccina with addition Echinacea purpurea, bishofit, compounds of the zinc, manganese, cobalt, copper, iodine in the ration for improvement the prophylaxis of swine salmonellosis; during the development of new vaccines has been recomended to consider the epizootic meaning of S.typhisuis. Novelty of work: retrospective data characterizing the epizootic situation of swine salmonellosis and epidemic situation of people in Poltava region have been analyzed and compared; there have been studed age's dynamics of nonspecific and specific status of pigs have been vaccinated against the salmonellosis with addition of the Echinacea purpurea, bishofit, compounds of the zinc, manganese, cobalt, copper, iodine in the ration.
