Yakovenko O. Organizing and technological aspects of the information resources using at the scientific libraries (1918-2004).

The dissertation is providing a complex research of the information resources using at the scientific libraries (on the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine example). It is analyzed the development of understanding about the system of providing of information for users. It is considered different aspects of that system formation in a historical retrospective. Conducted the research of satisfied and non-satisfied demands of the readers for documents from the library preservation holdings. It is defined the directions of library and information service of readers, which is based on innovation technologies implementation. The automated technology of documents giving out is offered. It is developed theoretical and methodological basis for creation the Service of library and information provision of patrons.
