Kyrychenko R. French language Ukrainica of the end of the XVII-th – beginning of the XX-th century in the library collections of Ukraine: origin, composition, contents, historical and book science reconstruction.

The dissertation is devoted to the historical and book science, source, bibliographical analysis of French language Ukrainica of the end of the XVII-th – beginning of the XX-th century which is kept in the VNLU and libraries of Ukraine and is aimed at the difinition of its origin, composition, contents and present state. The scientific description of the chosen repertoire of French language Ukrainica has been made, a great part of which has been introduced to scientific use for the first time. A special attention has been given to the historical and book science reconstruction of the dispersed historical and private book collections of the Ukrainian scientists and public man, whose activities were connected with France. Foreign Ukrainica, in particular French language Ukrainica, which is a part of the national bibliographical repertoire is introduced to the scientific use. The learning of the repertoire is one of the fruitful ways of popularizing and refreshment of the stock of VNLU as the national book repository of the Ukraine
