Object: nationbuilding and cultural processes, the realities of interconfessional and political relations in Ukraine of the late ХVІ-ХVІІ cehturies. Aim:reconstruction of the notions about Kyivan Rus, its history, symbols in the ukrainian society of the late ХVІ-ХVІІ centuries. Methods: historical-comparative, typological, chronological.
