Misenyova V. Phraseological units having no equivalents in vocabulary system (semantic, pragmatic and cultural aspects)

The object of the study - the phraseological units of Russian which have no lexical equivalents; the purpose - to ascertain semantic, pragmatic and cultural peculiarities of phraseological units which have no lexical equivalents; methods - descriptive, comparative, transformation; novelty - for the first time in Russian linguistics a complex analysis of phraseological units which have no equivalents in vocabulary system has been performed with regard for their semantic, pragmatic and cultural peculiarities on the basis of broad factual material; the theoretical and practical results may be used forv giving lectures, writing textbooks, educational supplies and methodical working outs on lexicology and phraseology; the field of use - may be employed for study of phraseology at high schools, in teaching culturology and communicative theory courses.
