Severin L. The System of Library-information Support of Local Self-Government Bodies in Ukraine

The purpose of the research: The dissertation is devoted to a system study of the problem of library аnd information support of local self-government bodies (LISLGB) in Ukraine. The main significance and strategic trends of improving the document and resource base of local self-government within framework of realizing the programs "Electronic Government" have been defined. The perspective trends of the level of the information culture of representatives of local authorities in the context of forming the system of LISLGB have also been defined. The priority significance of information and analytical activities of a local public library for helping local self-government bodies in the information environment of territory has been substantiated.
