The purpose of the research - The dissertation is devoted to the strategy for the library development in the higher educational establishments under the circumstances of educational system reforming in Ukraine. The strategic plan for library development is considered as an instrument for implementing the strategic development viewing into concrete position and tasks of innovative development management of the libraries in the higher educational establishments. The main directions of the higher educational establishments' libraries activity towards the integrated education-informational space formation also have been proved. The theoretical and technological ground for the information of corporative informational net work of the higher educational establishments' libraries and the main directions for the formation of the National electronic library has been worked out.
