Essay

The dissertation focuses on the efficiency of the reformation of education in accord with economic and social changes occurring in Ukraine in the last decade. The theoretical principles of the economic efficiency of education, its social and economic role in the process of the passage to continuous social development are refined in the dissertation.The author investigates thoroughly the category ''educational potential" as an element of human potential as well as the mechanism of the reproductive influence of education on the society's social and economic development analyzes the actual state of the efficiency of the national educational potential and by means of the system method determines internal and external effectiveness, the criteria of efficiency, effectuality and productivity.The research generalizes the active models of specialist training in the system of grade education and offers recommendations for a competent model of bachelor and specialist as well as certain suggestions related to theincrease of the efficacy of knowledge control in educational institutions and the effectiveness of government finance.
