Losyk O. Phenomenon of Freedom in French Postmodernistic Discourse.

The subject of research is new solution of scientific problem of interpretation of the phenomenon of freedom in the context of French philosophical postmodernism. Author suggests to consider that dissemination of the postmodern understanding of freedom is an attempt of in-theoretical negation of constant "Modern" narrative. The role of language as the phenomenon of a French postmodernistic discourse has been specified as an immanent element of "mind totalities", such as political, economic, cultural-ethics and aesthetical norms. Author proves the French discourse of postmodernism is a valued comprehension of life existence and can be realize under the "sign of freedom" in context with the latest transformations of European pictures of freedom, including the postcolonial specify. It is offered to consider that the postmodernistic interpretation of freedom lights it as active civil, public and private position (and reaction) of personality towards the expansion of political liberal-democratic realm.
