Subject - the lenght of vegetation period, self-pollinated lines productivity and other economic characters and regularities of their formation, recurrence and hereditary by corn hybridis developed on their basis; The arm - to develop the principlesof parental pair selection for crossing at the corn hybridization on the basis of the assessment of parent material; The research methods are organoleptic, measuring-weight, calculated, mathematical and statistical, calculated-comparative; The novelty - the regularities and details of morphophysiological and economic character formation in self-pollinated corn lines and hybrids are detected, the breeding prognosis of possibility to improve a plant and methods of its carrying out is proposed; The research results - the new self-pollinated lines are selected as a paternal material for early-repening, mid-early-season and middle-ripening corn hybrid breeding switable for industrial use; The introduction - the studied self-pollinated corn lines are submitted tothe Yuriyev Institute of Plant Growing, are registered at the National Centre of Genetic Resurses of Ukraineand are included in the breeding practice; The branch - the breeding research institutions
