Lugovskij O. Biobibliography and Bibliographical Activity of the Natural Scientists in the Ukraine Academy of Ukrainian SSR

Dissertation is devoted to the development of biobibliography and bibliographical activity of the scientists of the natural science of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in all its aspect through the period of 1918-1941. As a result of the source - research analysis the scientific reconstruction of the natural scientists documentary heritage, which became a souse base for biobibliographic research of the steps of the development of natural sciences as a whole, and the contribution of separate scientists of natural science of the Ukraine Academy of Sciences - Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR through the period of 1918-1941 was carried out. The historic destiny of the documents was retraced, the present place of their preservation was determined. At the base of the biobibliograhical analysis the circle of the published works of the academician E.V.Oppokov, professor D.E.Beling, and B.I.Balinsky was determined. The carried out bibliographical analysis of the archival and librarian heritage of the scientists gave a possibility to determine the degree of information capacity of mentioned archives and biobliographical editions for the realisation of scientific reconstruction of the course of life and creative work of scientists. On the basis of the made research the new approaches in practical work on filling in the informative gaps in elucidating the documentary heritage of scientists of natural science in National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine through the period of 1918-1941 was proposed (to).
