Grabar I. Children's and teenagers' dependence on volatile solvents (clinical therapeutical aspects ).

The thesis is devoted to the problem of complex valuation of clinical psychopathological, socio-psychological peculiarities of studying mecha-nisms and regularities forming mental and behaviour disorders owing to volatile solvents' usage and also to development, introduction and valua-tion effectiveness of complex methods of its treatment. 90 childrens and teenagers, age 9-16 years, ill in ingalation toxicoma-nia were examined with the aim to establish their clinical and socio-demographical peculiarities. For all patients the standard clinical psycho-pathological, clinical psychological, antropometrical examination was carried out, also the level of organism intoxication and the morphological blood structure were investigated. The valuation of clinical peculiarities of patients with inhalation toxi-comania depending on their age, type of used ingalers and the duration of the diseases is given. The negative transformation of characterological pe-culiarities and peripheral blood structure, change in motivation of inhal-ers' usage, reduction of psychic and physical development indexes among childrens and teenagers, who abused volatile solvents is given in details. The new method of treatment is carried out and its effectiveness is evaluated.
