Mozharenko M. Using of hordeins as markers of winter barley winterhardiness degree

Object: influence of allele content of hordein-coding proteins of winter barley for marking its winterhardiness degree. Aim: the studying of theoretic and practice possibility of winter barley prolamynes using for marking its winterhardiness level. Novelty: the method of cereal prolamines electrophoresis in acidic polyacrilamide gel was improved, the conception of hordein-coding locusis classification was elaborated, the correlation “hordein – winterhardiness degree” was investigated. Results: the components of hordein-coding locusis inheritance as blokes was showed, alleles of locusis Hrd A have high correlation with winterhardiness degree, alleles of locusis Hrd B and Hrd С have less correlation with winterhardiness degree, alleles series of hordein-coding locusis, marking of different winterhardiness degree were defined, the catalogue of hordein-coding locusis alleles was worked. Application stage: Two winter barley varieties Metelitsa and Dostoiny were created with co-authors. Application area: scientific establishments of UAAS and AIC of Ukraine.
