Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problem of Youth Socialization in Scouts Organizations in foreign countries and Ukraine. The author analyses the four periods of historical development of scouting. A research of the contemporary state is carried out. The conceptual basis of scouting is analysed. Pedagogical factors of scout youth socialization are specified.The analysis of the modern socialization policy in the USA, Ukraine and European countries is given. The content of scouts activity and forms of realization in some countries are investigated. Some proposals for Ukrainian pedagogical practice are given.
