Essay

Dissertation for obtaining a scientific degree of the candidate of agricultural sciences for specialty 06.01.14 - seed producing. The Institute for Sugar Beet of the UAAS, Kiev, 2005 For the first time the scientific problems of increasing of CMS hybrids of sugar beet sowing quality by means of optimization of pelleting and incrusting technology has been solved. Dependence of sowing quality of pelleted seed from the size of technological fraction, seed surface processing before pelleting (polishing) and mass of pelleting coat was established. High efficacy of nutrient mixture "Reacom-S-Buryakove" in pelleting and incrusting compound which increases the sugar yield on 0.28-0.95 ton pro hectare was established. It was established, that by moisture content of pelleted and coated seed 9% it can be stored during 4.5 year without reducing its sowing qualities. The technology for preparation of pelleted and coated seed of techniques that meet World requirements, has been successfully overtaken. The main points of CMS hybrids of sugar beet which guarantees the sowing quality of prepared seed according to World requirements was worked out.
