Malyuta O. "Prosvita" in formation of state potential of the Ukrainian people (second half of XIX-th - first quarter of XX-th centuries).

In the dissertation, on the basis of complex study of sources and literature, was made a comparative analysis of the role of society "Prosvita" that worked on the Ukrainian territory, which was a part of Austria-Hungarian Empire and Russian Empire in forming state potential of the Ukrainian people. The participation of "Prosvita" in political life of the Ukrainian people, its role in rising the national consciousness, consolidation of people, assertion of cultural, economic, political rights of people and their transformation into a nation are studied in the thesis. In the work are covered the views on national unity of public figures of "Prosvita", are discovered the ways of formation of personnel of state reference, is shown the training of nationally consciencious members in the ranks of society. In the thesis is traced the realization of accumulated reserves in Ukrainian state formation of 1917 - 1920, conversion of "Prosvita" members, who stood at headstreams of national state-formation, into officials of state authority organs of the whole vertical.
