Essay

The results of diagnostics and treatment of 87 children with funnel chest were analyzed. The use of developed and introduced methods of sternochondroplasty, differentiated approach to treatment of children with funnel chest allowed obtaining positive long term results in 94.8% of patients in restoration of chest anatomic form, improvement of cardiovascular and respiratory systems functional condition.
