Dissertation investigates results monitoring of system library-informational service of users of medical libraries of Academy medical sciences of Ukraine, which uncovered its modern condition and discovered strategic direction of development. Main sources for monitoring system were information from statistic investigations and results of specially elaborating questionnaires of user and librarian.The organization-functional model of library-informational support organizations has been worked out of these organizations in structure of united library-informational system health protection of Ukraine, what will promote development new active processes of medical branch. Established, that essential reorganizations in library-informational ensuring scientific organizations Academy of medical sciences of Ukraine possible condition renewal content and direction of continuous education personnel. Analyzed problem situation in sphere of librarian's continuous professional education determined ways of reformingpresent system. Improved user's typology medical libraries with considerations their information needs and level of informational culture. Based on received monitoring results elaborated complex organizational measures which increased professional qualifications employees of library and level of user's informational culture. Library-organization experiment was held that confirmed hypothesis about effectiveness of suggested by author complex organizational measures, which includes informational-enlightenment activities and user's scheme-route to necessary information.
