Essay

The object of researches - Marek's disease. The purpose - definition of epizootical situation by Marek's disease in Ukraine, indication and learning of an agent biological properties, and development of diagnostics resources for this disease. Methods of researches - epizootological, clinical, pathomorphological, virological, serological, genetic and statistical. Theoretical and practical outcomes: It were allocated 33 Marek's disease virus isolates. These strains pathogenity were experimentally defined in a biological test on chicken embryos and chickens. The circulation of low-, average- and high-pathogen strains of 1-st serotype was placed, that was practically proved in a biological test and by detection of a Meq oncoproteine gene. The specific viral antigenes were produced from the strains of each of three virus serotypes. The obtaining schemes of specific serums for diffuse precipitation reaction are completed on the models of hens and rabbits. The primers were calculated and synthesized for indication of pathogen virus strains in polymerase chain reaction. "Methodical guideline for Marek's disease diagnostics" was designed. Novelty: wide area virologic researches with the purpose of an estimation of Marek's disease virus distribution were carried out for a first time in Ukrainian poultry farms, strains pathotype was defined. The test - systems for Marek's disease diagnostics in diffuse precipitation reaction and the first serotype pathogenical viral strains indications in polymerase of a chain reaction were designed. Degree of implantation: normative documentation at test - systems is approved by a Methodical commission of Institute of experimental and clinical veterinary medicine UAAS, guideline - scientific and technical advice of State veterinary medicine department of Ukraine (protocol № 4 from December 27, 2004). Sphere of usage - veterinary medicine.
