Object of research: technological process of cylinder sleeves thermomechanical strengthening for improvement of vehicle engines repair; purpose of research: cylinder sleeves quality enhancing by thermomechanical strengthening for vehicle engines repair technology improvement; methods of research: Experiment planning theory, methods of physical and mathematical modelling and mathematical statistics; theoretical and practical results: selection and substantiation of the most significant technological factors of thermomechanical strengthening, which determine mechanical and operational characteristics of the part; development of mathematical model of thermomechanical strengthening technological parameters optimization; development of methods of vehicle engines repair technology improvement by way of strengthening of cylinder sleeves working surface, what increases resource of the part and enhance their maintainability; novelty: introduced the possibility of thermomechanical strengthening application for working up of cylinder sleeves working surface, made of special alloyed cast-iron; was set the dependence between cylinder sleeves strengthened material quality and optimal parameters of their thermomechanical strengthening; for the parts, made of special alloyed cast-iron, was proposed for the first time method of wear durability evaluation by means of complex parameter of mechanical properties; degree of introduction: work results are taken for application and introduction as promising strengthening technology by three repair enterprises in Kharkov region; application field: vehicle repair industry
