Essay

The object: the ethnic complement of population of Ternopil region. The aim: realization ethnic all-round ethnographic research Ternopil of area as original in the ethnonational attitude{relation} of region of Ukraine. Methods: systemical, statistical, historical-geographical, carthographic and mathematical modeling. The results: it is used in development of the complex regional program of social and economic development, for regulation of ethnographic processes, normalization of a re-ligious situation, forecasting of electoral behaviour of the population, in educational process for preparation of experts of geographical speciali-ties.
