Golyk R. The Attitudes towards the Supernatural in the Ukrainian Culture of the 10th-18th Centuries

Object: character of perception of the phenomena and events which considered eldritch, in the context of Ukrainian medieval and early-newest mentality. Aim: location and function of pictures of eldritch during the historical evolution of the Ukrainian culture on a background mystic-religious and rationalistic-secular progress trends. Methods: historical-comparative and structural-hermeneutic. Results: in first the time carried out complex historical is semiotics analysis of pictures of eldritch in the Ukrainian culture of Х-ХVIII ages, their value is studied as ponderable factors of development of Ukrainian religious and society mentality, found out intercommunication with different categories and spheres of culture as the system which is mutated in time space.
