Perepelytsya N. Human capital in transitional economy: contents and main directions of formation

The object is the system of production relations that change in terms of market transformation in postsoviet countries. The purpose of work is to specify the substance of human capital, to prove main directions of its development and use in countries with transition economy. Methods of the analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, abstraction, theories of economy and postindustrial society, conception of social economy, human potential development and sustain-able development, methods of economical-statistic and institu tional analysys are used. Development of methodology of human capital analysis and author’s vision of substance of this category are proposed. Fundamental and update structure of human capital is reflected. It was proved that human capital is common fundamental groundsfor developing and functioning of intellectual, social and cultural capitals. Peculiarities of human capital manifestation in transitional economy are disclosed, contradictions and factors that hinder full formationof human capital in transition society are revealed. Modern directions of human capital development as a factor of national competitiveness of Ukraine in terms of globalization were proposed. Sphere of use: lectures and special courses of economic theory, article and monograph, in practical activity of stateorgans and managing subjects.
