Essay

The state of small towns of the Right-bank Ukraine on the eve of Ukrainian revolution is found out in the article. The influence of Ukrainian national liberation movement on political and national consciousness of township population, its attitude toward realization of the idea of the Ukrainian state system is traced. Public and political, social, cultural and educational life of small towns, and also interethnic relations and their influence on internal political position of Ukraine in time of revolution is reflected in the paper.
