Yanishevskyy O. Vaslav Gonsiorovsky's Prose: Genesis And Structure Of Historical Discourse.

This thesis is a research of Vaslav Gonsiorovsky's prose subjects and peculiarities. Vaslav Gonsiorovsky (1869-1839) have not been known for Ukrainian readers till now. There was researched genesis, structure and dynamics of his prose's discourse. Subject and genre specificity of writer's historical and journalist works were not examined as separate. They were examined in broad literary context: Polish, All-Slavonic, All-European. There were researched ideological-aesthetic content, typology, plot lines, archetypes, successions of imagery and artistic peculiarities of Gonsiorovsky prose. There was made explication of individual features of writer artistic style, literary devices which were used by him. There was exposed originality of Gonsiorovsky's world outlook conceptions and his values of some important of Polish history. Reception of Gonsiorovsky's prose was implanted both in substance of modern Slavonic studies in Ukraine and in common massive researches of Polish literature of XIX-XX centuries.
