Essay

The thesis studies the formation of the literary fantastic in Croatian writing by applying a complex philological analysis. Texts written is different eras have been used to elucidate the evolution of fantastic imagery over a significant period of history. The study has been focused on representative works that constitute the canon of Croatian literature, as well as works that are less often in the focus of literary critics, but are important for studying the development of the fantastic literature in Croatia.
