Essay

In the Dissertation are traced the transformations in the territorial structure, demographic, ethno-social and religious situation in Crimea. Colonization policy ofRussian government and foundation of multinationalsettlements, in particular Ukrainians, is researched in the thesis. Imperial policy towards local Crimean Tatars inhabitants in the spheres of politics, religion and social life is analysed. Special attention is paid to the influence of foreign political, religious and mental factors upon the course and the results of incorporation of Crimea.
