Object:elements of the technology for bulb onion of the variety Yaltyns'ka Mistseva seed growing. Aim: to investigete,the oretically substantiate and practically realize adaptive breeding - seed-growing elements of the energy-saving technology for bulb onion seed production under conditions of the South of Ukraine. Methods: field, laboratory ones. Novelty: for the first time there are experimentally proved and introduced elements of the energy-saving technology for bulb onion of the variety Yaltyns'ka Mistseva seed production; the initial material is studied and a new variety of the bulb onion under the name Yaltyns'ky Rubin with stably high varietal characteristics is created. Results: the worked out, experimentally corroborated and introduced into production non-transplanting method of mother plents growing of the bulb onion of the variety Yaltyns'ka Mistseva ensures the reduction of production expenditures at 7,7 ths grn/ha with the economy of joint energy expenditures about 24%; on the basis of theconducted work and evalution approbatory signs and families the is created the bulb onion variety Yaltyns'ky Rubin, which is now in the state variety testing and is approved as a perspective one.
