Shumko H. Pathogenetic substrantiation of Differential Treatment of Young Persons with Bronchial Asthma.

The pathogenetic aspect of bronchial asthma in persons of young age have been ascertained. It has been established that in patients of young age there occur an activation of the processes of lipid free radical oxidation and oxidative protein modification, an inhibition of defense antiradical systems, a disturbance of the morphofunctional properties of erythrocytes, an elevation of the level of immunoglobulin E and antiinflammatory cytokines, an imbalance of the hormonal status and a predomination of the tonus of the parasympathetic nervous system. It has been corroborated that an essential inhibition of free radical lipid oxidation, a decrease of the oxidative protein modification, an improvement of the antiradical systems of defense, the morphofunctional properties of erythrocytes, the immunocytokine profile are observed after using laser therapy or fakovit in a course of multimodality therapy in contrast to basic therapy. The best result was obtained in case of a simultaneous prescription of laser therapy and fakovit.
