Essay

Object: regularities of the seeds yield high level formation of table beet and its quality. Aim: to work out the resource-saving technology for seed growing of two table beet variety types with preserving their varietal signs. Methods: field laboratory ones. Novelty: there are revealed regularities of the seeds yield high level formation of table beet and its quality; found the methods for the increase of mother roots output from a unit of the area; studied types of seed plants shooting, depending different ways of on growing and proved the influence of a bush architectonics on the productivity of seed plants; determined the preservation of varietal and main economically-valuable signs by table beet plants, when using seeds, from mother plants-stecklings and parts of overgrown roots. Results: there are worked out elements (sowing terms and thickness of plants when growing mother plants, including stecklings and overgrown ones, their parameters and optimal schemes of planting, from which the resource-saving technology for growing table beet seeds is formed; high economic efficiency of the worked out technology in comparison with the generally used one is tested under industrial conditions of Kharkiv and Poltava regions (increase of net profit - on 1,1-3,9 ths hg/ha, reduction of seeds cost price - on 1,З-3,1 hr/kg); on the basis of the all round analysis of the obtained results there are made methodic recommendations for table beet seeds growing; results of investigations are used when working out the їя State Standard of Ukraine 4341:2004. Introduction extent: it is introduced in agricultural enterprises of different forms of property in Kharkiv and Poltava region. Field of use: vegetable growing, seed growing.
