Mukhina I. The participation of the national minorities in social and political and economic life of Kharkiv the province ( in the 19 th at the beginning of the 20 th centuries )

The object of study - is the participation of the national minorities of Kharkiv province in social and economic life in the 19-th at the beginning of the 20-th centuries. The purpose of work is analyze the process of appearance of different national groups and activity of their representatives in social, political, economic and cultural live of Kharkiv province in the 19-th at the beginning of the 20-th centuries. The methods used in the research are: problem-chronological, historical-genetical, system-structural, historical- typological, historical-genetical, biographical, personological. The practical value of the dissertations lies in the fact that the materials of the thesis may use for working out of the courses of the lectures in History of Ukraine and native region and for the preparation for the special courses and seminars in regional history for the Higher Educational Establishments. Same points of this work may use in a practical work of the central and local authorities, national and cultural associations of Kharkiv and Ukraine. The dissertation is devoted to the comprehensive research of the participation of the national minorities of Kharkiv province in social and political and economic life in the 19 th at the beginning of the 20 th centuries. Social and legal status of foreigners and the representatives of the national minorities, main stages and motives of their settling, the dynamics of increase in the number and qualitative structure are analyzed, the all-round description of the different aspects of activity of the representatives of the national minorities is given and their real contribution to the spheres of production and trade is presented; the participation of the representatives of different nations in the development of science, education and cultural of Kharkiv and province is researched; the role of the public organizations including created by the national minorities in the system of social defense, the attempt of the systematization of motives, forms and ways of charitable and public activity of the representatives of the national groups and the national societies as a whole is made in the work has been compiled from the wide circle of original sources, the considerable part of them are introduced into scientific practice for the first time.
