Vatagin M. Effective utilization of nuclear fuel - a resource of economic security of the state

The thesis deals with the theoretical, methodical and applied questions of improvement of the nuclear fuel (NF) account organization with the purpose of achievement of a comprehensible level of economic security of the state and its separate territories in the basic spheres of vital activity. The sphere of maintenance of nuclear power plant with NF and its use was analyzed and it was stated that, in conformity with the global tendencies, it is possible to expect an essential rise of prices on fresh NF. It is also demonstrated that under the given conditions the important direction at the process of updating of investment maintenance of nuclear power should be the increase of depths of nuclear fuel burn up. One of the conditions of achievement of this process is carrying out of respective changes in the organization of account of NF. The offered methodical approach inclines to the definition of NF efficient use and its influence on innovative effect of a broad circle of the organizational ? administrative, technological decisions that are directed, in their turn, to the effective utilization of nuclear power resources. The work contains the results of calculations of NF efficient use and results of the analysis of their influence on a level of economic security of the state according to the investment and other components. It is shown, that the improvement of macroeconomic parameters is also appreciable in case of changes of NF business accounting.
